C/C++ Software Engineer

Salary: $124,000 - 171,000 per year Requirements:

• We require strong proficiency and professional experience in C and C++.
• We prefer experience in one or more of the following areas: real-time control, motion control, embedded programming, multi-threading, CAN bus, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, or MATLAB.
• We look for solid problem-solving ability in moderately complex to highly complex situations.
• We value the ability to evaluate options using technical expertise, sound judgment, and prior experience.
• We expect a fresh perspective on established solutions and strong decision-making based on multiple sources of information.
• We require excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• We require a Masters degree with 1+ years of professional experience, or a Bachelors degree with 3+ years of professional experience.

• We design and develop code for complex software initiatives.
• We troubleshoot challenging software issues and implement effective bug fixes.
• We design and prototype the user interface.
• We create software specifications and technical documentation.
• We develop test plans for simulators, test benches, and laboratory validation.
• We document software behavior and procedures.
• We work with internal and external customers to analyze requirements, resolve software issues, and plan project schedules.
