Crew Member — The Ria Pizzeria

The Ria Pizzeria | Downtown Huntington Beach

The Ria Pizzeria is hiring a Crew Member to join our small, hardworking team.

We make some seriously good Detroit-style pizza, but great pizza is only part of the job. We believe in treating every guest and every teammate with dignity and respect , keeping an exceptionally clean restaurant, and doing the little things right every single time.

This is an all-hands-on-deck position . Everyone helps where the restaurant needs them.

• Take care of guests at the counter and on the phone
• Build and bake pizzas to our recipes and standards
• Prep ingredients and keep stations stocked
• Cut, finish, package, and organize orders accurately
• Wash dishes and maintain the dish area
• Clean counters, equipment, floors, walls, and work areas
• Restock and prepare the restaurant for the next shift
• Help teammates during busy periods
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and operating procedures

Experience is helpful. Attitude is more important.

• Shows up on time and ready to work
• Works with urgency without getting sloppy
• Takes pride in keeping things clean
• Can follow recipes and procedures exactly
• Accepts coaching and wants to improve
• Notices what needs to be done without constantly being told
• Treats guests and teammates with respect
• Can stay calm and productive when we're busy
• Understands that dishes, cleaning, and taking out the trash are just as much part of the job as making pizza

This probably isn't the right job if you:

• Frequently call out or show up late
• Spend your shift watching the clock
• Think cleaning is somebody else's job
• Don't like being coached
• Need someone constantly telling you what to do next

We run a small crew, which means every person matters .

You'll learn how a high-quality independent restaurant operates from the inside out.

You'll learn pizza production, prep, guest service, food safety, organization, speed, and teamwork—and you'll work in a restaurant where quality and cleanliness actually matter.

Most importantly, you'll be treated with dignity and respect, and we'll expect you to treat everyone else the same way.
