The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
The Pharmacist-Clinical Generalist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, PharmD preferred
- Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharmacy
- Working knowledge of health care matters
Preferred:
- Hospital Pharmacy experience desirable
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Registration in New Jersey as a Pharmacist, New Jersey licensure required
- Part Time
- Evening shift and including every third weekend
Essential Functions:
- They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures
- They exercise considerable independent decision-making
- Provide advanced clinical services to assigned specialty areas
