Polysomnographic Technologist

$2350.08/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized CT imaging services in a hospital or healthcare setting, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for patient assessment. This travel position requires a skilled technologist with proven expertise in performing CT scans. Responsibilities: Operate CT imaging equipment to conduct head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans with and without contrast. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining protocols and positioning them appropriately. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and ensure image quality standards are met. Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements during all procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver efficient patient care. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any technical issues promptly. Qualifications: Hold a valid Virginia Radiology License with certification as a CT technologist. Possess minimum 2 years of recent experience in a hospital setting performing CT procedures. Maintain current BLS certification. Demonstrate proficiency in performing contrast media injections and IV procedures. Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills.
