Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations
• Monitor food inventory, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and service
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries and supplies
• Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain consistency
• Adapt to varying prep and line cooking duties as needed during service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in a professional kitchen
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification preferred
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
