### Cookie Noticefor details.## About This RoleRivCut is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to develop efficient, reliable CNC programs for our precision machining operations. In this role, you'll create CAM programs for complex parts across multiple industries, working closely with our machinists and engineering team to optimize processes and solve manufacturing challenges.You'll be programming for a variety of CNC equipment including 3, 4, and 5-axis mills as well as CNC lathes with live tooling. We value programmers who understand shop floor realities and can create programs that are both efficient and practical for our operators.This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse, challenging projects while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative team environment.## Key Responsibilities* Create CNC programs using Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software* Develop toolpaths for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling operations* Program CNC lathes including live tooling and Y-axis operations* Review customer drawings and CAD models for manufacturability* Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies* Create setup sheets and work instructions for operators* Optimize existing programs to reduce cycle times and improve quality* Troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions* Maintain program documentation and revision control* Support first-article runs and prove-out new jobs* Collaborate with operators to gather feedback and improve programs* Stay current with new CAM features and machining techniques* Support quoting by estimating cycle times and identifying challenges## Requirements* 5+ years of CNC programming experience* Expert proficiency in Mastercam, Fusion 360, or equivalent CAM software* Experience programming 3, 4, and 5-axis milling centers* Experience programming CNC lathes with live tooling* Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixturing* Thorough understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings* Knowledge of various materials and their machining characteristics* Hands-on CNC operation experience strongly preferred* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills* Excellent attention to detail and documentation habits## Preferred Qualifications* Mastercam Advanced Milling certification* Experience in aerospace or medical device manufacturing* SolidWorks or similar CAD proficiency* Knowledge of post-processor customization* Experience with probing and in-process inspection* Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality requirements## Benefits & Perks* Competitive hourly rate: $38 - $48/hour depending on experience* Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance* Paid time off and holidays* Overtime opportunities available (time and a half)* Professional development including software training* Modern CAM software and equipment* Collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
