Technical Postgres Sme who has worked in database migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL. Should have a thorough understanding of schema and data migration of large database to PostgreSQL. Very strong expertise in PostgreSQL database. Very strong expertise and hands-on experience in understanding and rewriting SQL queries, migrating packages, migrating stored procedures and optimizing the same. Should be able to identify and recommend solution on PostgreSQL query / Stored procedures performance issues. Strong hands-on experience in performance tuning - Constraints creations, Indexes creation & analysis, VACUUM,AUTOVCUUM parameter setup & enabling, explain plan analysis, Server side parameter setup, SQL query re-writing, bloating monitoring. Should have good understanding of Oracle PL/SQL databases like TABLES,VIEWS,PROCEDURES,FUNCTIONS,PACKAGES,INDEXES,TRIGGERS,MVs. It is good to have GCP basic understanding and Cloud SQL knowledge. Oracle to Posgres Migration experience (schema and data ) is required. Eager to learn new concepts, functionalities and able to resolved issue independently.
