As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Driving Role in Montgomery, AL , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.93 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security‑related issues to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and/or daily operations. Minimum Requirements: Possess two or more years of security‑related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
