Talent Acquisition Specialist | Non IT Staffing and Recruitment Location: Deer Park, NY Employment type: Full-time Seniority level: Associate Job function: Management Industry: HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing Role Description: This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Mechanical Estimator located in Deer Park, NY. The Mechanical Estimator will evaluate project specifications and drawings to accurately analyze costs and develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems. The job involves sourcing and analyzing vendor and subcontractor pricing, reviewing project requirements, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and project management teams. Qualifications: Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems. Familiarity with Building Connected. Excellent communication skills & attention to detail. Relevant work experience in mechanical estimating or a similar field. Salary commensurate with experience. Not looking for a chief estimator. We have one and this guy would report to him, but the candidate is kind of going to be "on an island" unto his/herself. Absolutely no remote. Non locals hard no.
