Production Operator (Pitman Day Shift)

Job Description Summary of Position As a Production Operator I, you will operate your assigned position or task safely and efficiently to optimally produce quality work. This may include placement and testing of electrical components, cleaning of finished products, or loading of raw materials into machines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position Standard Work Instructions (SWI) Clean and prepare workstation and machines Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies Check final assembly for finish, labeling, and packaging methods Complete other tasks as required and/or directed Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures Qualifications Skills Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English Basic computer literacy Soldering experience is an asset Coachable and willing to learnPunctual and dependable Team and customer oriented Problem solving Ability to lift objects less than 25 pounds and team lift objects approximately 60 pounds Able to stand, walk and work on feet for 8+ hours Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Production experience preferred Compensation and Benefits Competitive Market Wages Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday) Employee Assistance Program Medical/Dental/Vision insurance plans Tuition Reimbursement Program Employee Recognition Programs Employee PV Panel Purchase Program #J-18808-Ljbffr Silfab Solar Inc.
