Position Details

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:20 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:20 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:20 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:20 AM - 5:00 PM (7:20 AM start on team meeting days)
• Friday: As needed

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
• Take dental radiographs and ensure accurate patient documentation
• Educate patients on treatment plans and oral health care
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
• Support efficient patient flow and daily office operations
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient experiences
• Contribute to a positive, solution-focused workplace culture

Requirements

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Current radiology certification (in accordance with Tennessee regulations)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
• Dependable, professional, and patient-focused
• Passion for delivering exceptional care and building lasting patient relationships

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental assisting school certification
