Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Nurse PractitionerThe Nurse Practitioner provides medical care services and treatment to patients of all ages within scope of license, in collaboration with a physician as required by law. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to collect and document patient data, performs physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications and treatments, orders and schedules laboratory and diagnostic studies to provide evidence based care and comprehensive services including direct patient care. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.Minimum Requirements:Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice requiredRN license in the state of practice requiredSpecialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicableOne (1) year experience as an NP preferredMaintain collaboration agreements, per state requirementsComplies with all relevant professional standards of practiceCurrent CPR if applicableTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of age
