Senior Project Manager – Mechanical Construction / Advanced TechnologyWe're partnering with a well-established mechanical construction company that is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanical construction professional who enjoys both leading complex projects and building strong client relationships.This is a true seller-doer role with responsibility for project execution, financial performance, client relationships, and business development across commercial, industrial, advanced technology, cleanroom, laboratory, manufacturing, data center, and tenant improvement projects.What You'll Do as Senior Project Manager:Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction and estimating through installation, commissioning, and closeoutManage project budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete, billing, change orders, and overall profitabilityServe as a senior point of contact for clients, general contractors, design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and field operationsDevelop and maintain client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat and negotiated workLead proposals, conceptual budgets, estimates, scope development, value engineering, and contract reviewsOversee procurement, subcontractor buyout, long-lead equipment, logistics, and project schedulingPartner closely with field leadership to resolve issues and keep projects aligned with scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality expectationsCoordinate mechanical systems including HVAC, hydronic piping, mechanical piping, controls/BAS, TAB, commissioning, and related systemsIdentify opportunities for additional construction, service, retrofit, controls, and maintenance work within existing accountsMentor and provide guidance to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and junior project staffWhat We're Looking For in a Senior Project Manager:8+ years of mechanical construction experience, ideally in project management, estimating, engineering, or field leadershipStrong experience managing mechanical/HVAC construction projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, change management, and client relationshipsStrong understanding of HVAC, hydronic systems, mechanical piping, controls/BAS, equipment procurement, and construction sequencingExperience with commercial HVAC, tenant improvements, retrofits, design-build, plan/spec, or occupied-facility projectsExperience in advanced technology, cleanroom, laboratory, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, or industrial environments is a plusStrong estimating, financial management, forecasting, contract administration, and change order experienceAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, and contractsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsPrevious experience mentoring or leading junior project staffA demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and generate repeat businessWhy This Opportunity?This is more than a traditional Project Manager position.
