About the Role The CDL Class “A” Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of materials and heavy equipment to various job sites. This position involves operating and maintaining a Peterbilt Triaxle and other equipment while adhering to safety protocols and demonstrating professionalism. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and reliability in transportation services. Key Responsibilities Operate a Peterbilt Triaxle to transport materials and equipment. Load and unload materials and equipment at Shearon facilities and job sites. Use loaders to facilitate truck loading processes. Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations during transport. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the truck. Handle plants, trees, and construction materials with care to ensure proper transport and delivery. Collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and goals. Maintain accurate mileage/fuel logs and daily pre-trip inspection records. What We Are Looking For Qualifications At least 1 year of experience with a Class A CDL. A clean driving record. Proficiency in operating dump trucks and loaders. Experience with loading/unloading techniques for materials, excavators, and backhoes. Familiarity with transportation safety protocols.
