General Dentist Opportunity

Blue Jay Dental has a client with a need for a general dentist to start immediately in Canton, IL. Strong general dentist needed at this large practice. Office hours are 3-5 days per week. This is a large multi-operatory practice with state of the art equipment. Age ranges are adult only. Compensation is excellent to help establish a new dentist.

Responsibilities of the dentist include providing diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques. Assessing patient's dental status and arranging for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed. Providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients. Providing routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis and fluoride treatments. Referring to dental specialists when appropriate. Managing administrative functions of the dental office. Supervising the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants.

Requirements of the dentist include a DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school. Must have an IL license and DEA. Must be willing to live and be part of the community of Canton, IL. Competence in all facets of general dentistry with a strong focus on clinical excellence.
