Are you a payroll professional who takes pride in getting the details right? The Gurley Leep Automotive Family is a growing family-owned business, looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team at their Mishawaka, IN headquarters.

This is a fast-paced position supporting payroll across multiple dealerships and a variety of compensation structures, including technicians, commissioned team members, administrative staff, hourly, and salaried team members.

What You'll Do

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
• Review and validate timecards, hours, commissions, technician flat rate/guarantee hours, bonuses, and other compensation.
• Gather and verify payroll information from multiple sources.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
• Work closely with managers to ensure accurate payroll reporting.
• Process payroll adjustments, corrections, deductions, bonuses, and special payments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and protect highly confidential employee information.
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and related projects.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years' payroll experience required; automotive dealership payroll experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and multiple data sources.
• Experience with commissions, flat rate pay, hourly, and salaried compensation preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Dependable, organized, and able to meet weekly deadlines.
• Professional communication skills and a high level of confidentiality.
