Hire, onboard, and train new team members while motivating, energizing, engaging, and inspiring the team. Manage team performance to ensure bakery‑cafe goals, operational and quality standards, and guest service expectations are met. Develop managers into subject matter experts on people processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors. Follow operational procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives. Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff. Build engaging relationships to foster loyal guests. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain a healthy and safe workplace that meets Panera’s health, food, safety, and culture standards. Manage bakery‑cafe overall costs and inventory. Build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum age: 18 years of age. 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred. ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve). Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen. Proven ability to run great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching and developing others in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds; stand and walk up to 6 hours; communicate clearly in a loud environment. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Any job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.
