This role is crucial for ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team to achieve production targets at our Hitachi facility.Job Responsibilities:* Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers during weekend shifts, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.* Monitor production output, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or inefficiencies.* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.* Train, mentor, and motivate production team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.* Identify and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and personnel conflicts in a timely and effective manner.* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control, logistics) to optimize production flow and resolve interdepartmental challenges.* Prepare and submit accurate production reports, including shift summaries, incident reports, and performance metrics.* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.* Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods on the production line during weekend shifts.* Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.Job Qualifications:* High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration) preferred.* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.* Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.* Flexibility to work weekend shifts (e.g., Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday) and occasional overtime as needed.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesHitachi is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
