Assitant Property Manager

Who You Work With You work beside every property manager on our bench, across the whole portfolio, and you own the moments that matter most to a resident: the renewal, the lease, and the move-in. Field, leasing and maintenance are around you, and you step in to help them when the day calls for it. You answer to Andy Joseph, VP of Property Management, for the day to day. You work directly with Ian Joseph, our CEO, on your professional development. This is a first real step into a real estate career, not a stop along the way. You will learn property management from the inside, from people doing it well, with a company that also owns a brokerage and a construction company under the same roof. We promote from inside first, and the people who do this job at our standard are the first ones we hand a book to. The Role You own three lanes across the whole portfolio: lease renewals, lease signings and move-ins, and the resident communication that goes with them. When field or maintenance needs a hand, you give one. Six things you will love doing: Running a renewal conversation and watching the renewal rate move because of you. Taking an approved application and getting a family into their home, start to finish. Being the voice a resident actually trusts when something goes wrong. Picking up the phone and handling it, one time. Catching the error in a lease before anyone else sees it. Learning the property manager job from the inside, from people doing it well. In your first 90 days we build your scorecard with you, in the open: renewals, how fast an approved resident gets to move-in, and how often you actually reach people.
