HVAC Technician IVThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a HVAC Technician IV. The HVAC Technician IV performs advanced skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across university facilities. This position serves as a senior technical resource for HVAC operations, diagnosing complex system failures and ensuring reliable, efficient, and safe operation of equipment. The position requires advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems (BAS), electrical and mechanical controls, and applicable codes and standards. The HVAC Technician IV may provide technical guidance and assistance to other maintenance personnel and works independently on complex assignments requiring a high level of technical judgment. May be required to respond after hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays to support campus operations or emergency response.
