Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office, campus, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, lobbies, parking areas, and other assigned spaces, verifying credentials and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with evacuation and reentry procedures when directed, and complete required reports related to daily operations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
