Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Emergency Room/Emergency Department for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role requires someone who can excel in a high-paced, acuity-based environment. The successful candidate will be working with standard ER equipment and the Meditech EMR system.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Airway and Respiratory Procedures including suctioning and ventilator monitoring
• Vascular Access Procedures such as IV insertion and blood specimen collection
• Trauma Procedures including trauma resuscitation and fracture stabilization
• Emergency Procedures providing assistance and monitoring
• Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary care including catheterizations
• Pediatric Emergency Procedures covering resuscitation and stabilization
• Specialized Trauma Center skills in managing massive transfusion protocols
• Cardiac and Critical Care Procedures including ACLS resuscitation
• Medication Administration for pain management and emergency medication
• Neurological Emergencies such as stroke assessments and seizure management
• Wound and Orthopedic Procedures including wound irrigation and orthopedic reduction assistance

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH, CPI certifications
• Expertise in caring for an acute population
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Must pick up 4 weekend shifts per month
