Software Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a high-visibility engineering team focused on distributed systems, risk and compliance platforms, and AI-enabled applications. This is an onsite role based in Nashville, TN. Prior Amazon experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop distributed or multi-tier systems at enterprise scale
Build and maintain applications supporting risk, compliance, and governance workflows
Contribute to AI-enabled features and LLM integrations within existing platforms
Apply strong object-oriented design principles across Java, Python, and TypeScript codebases
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across international operations

Mandatory Skills

Python
Java
TypeScript
Experience with distributed or multi-tier systems
Strong object-oriented design fundamentals
Prior Amazon experience
Must be US-based (compliance requirement)

Nice-to-Have Skills

Background in risk, compliance, audit, controls, or governance systems
Experience building AI-enabled applications
Exposure to LLMs (prompting, integration, or API consumption)
Domain knowledge in transportation, logistics, or large operational platforms
