About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** November 9, 2026 **Location:** Conroe, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day or night shift available; 12-hour shifts with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; nurse-to-patient ratio 1:6**Highlights:**- 23-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with a collaborative team of 37 staff members- Work with modern equipment including IV pumps, sequential compression devices, vein finders, bladder scanners, EKG machines, and computers on wheels- EMR system: Expanse (experience preferred)- Day shift includes charge nurse, 4 nurses, 2 techs, and 1 unit secretary; night shift includes charge nurse, 4 nurses, and 2 techs- Perform a variety of clinical procedures including lab draws, IV insertions, foley insertions, and medication administration- Participate in daily huddles and bedside shift reporting for optimal patient care coordination**Requirements:**- Active RN license in Texas- BLS certification (required)- Minimum of one year acute care experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry or Stepdown unit- Telemetry experience required- Familiarity with admissions, discharges, and EMR systems- Ability to perform lab draws and IV insertions- Strong critical thinking skills and commitment to patient safety**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This role offers the chance to work in a well-staffed telemetry unit where kindness, critical thinking, and patient safety are valued above all.
