Our organization is looking to hire a Gastroenterologist for a 7 on 7 off schedule.
Key features of this position include:
- Conducting procedures such as colonoscopies, endoscopies, and ERCP
- Administering conscious sedation with the support of anesthesia
- Utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system
Greenwood is a charming town nestled in the foothills of South Carolina, located along the shores of Lake Greenwood. It is conveniently situated a three-hour drive from the stunning beaches of Charleston, two hours from the Appalachian Mountains, and equidistant to both Atlanta and Charlotte. Known as "the Emerald City" and "the Lakelands," Greenwood boasts a favorable climate and numerous nearby lakes. Residents can enjoy year-round golfing, seasonal water sports, and excellent opportunities for hunting and fishing.
Our organization operates as a non-profit hospital and stands as the largest employer in the region, backed by a substantial private endowment that ensures financial stability. We provide healthcare services to the communities of Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield, and Newberry Counties. The medical practice division employs 60 primary care physicians and 53 specialists, along with 44 hospital-based physicians.
