Process Batching Operator (PLC-Assisted)
Where: Portage, IN 46368
Status: Full-Time
Pay: $19.50 – $20.50/hr + Weekly Pay
Openings: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
Is this you?- Can you follow detailed batch records and production instructions with precision?
- Do you enjoy weighing, mixing, and cooking ingredients to exact specifications?
- Are you comfortable running heated & non-heated batching systems and keeping them clean?
- Do you take pride in preventative maintenance and a spotless, sanitized work area?
- Are safety and product quality your top priorities on every run?
- Gather, weigh, and mix ingredients by recipe.
- Cook batches and stage finished materials for production.
- Operate batching systems; maintain records and follow instructions.
- Clean, sanitize, and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Adhere to safety and quality procedures without compromise.
- Manufacturing or batch mixing experience preferred (not required).
- Basic computer ability; PLC exposure is a plus.
- Intermediate math for measurements and conversions.
- Solid communication skills.
- Self-motivated; works well independently and with a team.
Stop in Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm. Please bring two forms of employment identification.
