Job Description & Requirements/n /n - Specialty: Med Surg /n - Discipline: RN /n - Duration: Ongoing /n - 36 hours per week /n - Shift: 12 hours /n - Employment Type: Staff /n /n /n Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Direct Hire | Full-Time Unit: General Medical / Nephrology Schedule: All shifts available Hours: 36 hours per week Start Date: ASAP New Graduates Welcome to Apply /n Compensation: /n /n - Hourly Range: $32.61 – $49.28 /n - Estimated Annual Range: $61,045 – $92,252 /n /n Sign-On Bonus: /n /n - $15,000 with 1-year commitment (new grads and experienced RNs eligible) /n /n Relocation Assistance: /n /n - Up to $6,000 (in-state) /n - Up to $12,000 (out-of-state) /n - Must meet relocation eligibility requirements and receive approval /n Position Overview/n The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care across the continuum. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting patients and families physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Key Responsibilities/n Patient Care & Clinical Practice /n /n - Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans /n - Provides care in accordance with nursing standards, best practices, and regulatory guidelines /n - Monitors patient conditions and responds appropriately to clinical changes /n - Maintains accurate, timely, and complete documentation /n /n Collaboration & Care Coordination /n /n - Works closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve care goals and quality outcomes /n - Delegates tasks appropriately and functions as a key member of the care team /n - Advocates for patients and families to ensure safe, effective care /n /n Education & Support /n /n - Educates patients and families on treatment plans and health needs /n - Assists in orientation and mentoring of new staff /n - Promotes a supportive, compassionate care environment /n /n Quality & Safety /n /n - Participates in quality improvement and process improvement initiatives /n - Maintains a safe and clean work environment /n - Follows infection prevention and safety protocols /n /n Professional Development /n /n - Maintains current knowledge of evidence-based practices and regulatory standards /n - Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning /n Requirements/n Licensure & Certifications /n /n - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state /n - BLS (American Heart Association) required prior to start /n /n Education /n /n - Associate Degree in Nursing required /n - BSN preferred /n /n Experience /n /n - New graduates accepted /n - Prior RN experience in a healthcare setting preferred /n /n Skills /n /n - Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office /n - Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills /n Work Environment & Physical Requirements/n /n - Frequent standing, walking, and patient care activities /n - Ability to lift or assist patients (35+ lbs) /n - Exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and clinical hazards /n - Ability to respond quickly in fast-paced, high-acuity environments /n /n /n Contact me directly for more information: Daniel Trowbridge Medical Solutions Direct Hire C/T: About Medical Solutions Direct Hire/n /n At Medical Solutions, we’re people who care, helping people who care.
