Growing together.The Associate Patient Care Coordinator provides patient care in accordance with established methods and techniques and conforms to recognized standards.Location (Full-Time Onsite): 3 44 NW Elks Drive Corvallis, OR 97330May be required to travel to one or multiple locations for coverage as neededSchedule: This is a 40-hour week, 8-hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:15 am to 5:00 pm PST. The schedule will be determined by the manager upon hire.Primary Responsibilities:Will participate in and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic that is consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards Handbook. To this end, employees will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained withinGreets patients for providers, answers the telephone, routing of calls/tasks, books appointments, verify patient insurance coverage, acts as cashier for payments and prepares for appointmentsGreet and check patients in, verify current demographics and insurance coverage. Notifies back-office staff of patient's arrival in a timely mannerWorking knowledge of the referral processUses the correct search criteria to eliminate the creation of duplicate documentation and enters in the EHRContact the assistant or provider promptly when an acutely ill patient either telephones or approaches the reception desk with or without an appointmentDirect patient flow and prepare patients for examsProactively monitors and manages provider schedules for accuracyActively participate in the cleaning of shared work areasParticipate in the orientation and training of new employeesMay work at multiple sites as determined by department necessityAbility to conduct patient outreachPerforms all other duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
