Trauma-Informed Clinical Social Worker (EMDR & ART)

Her focus areas include work with survivors of trauma and abuse, couples therapy, and treating depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss. Mary is certified in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy – both evidence-based therapies used to heal from the effects of trauma. In the midst of the serious work of therapy, Mary seeks to find hope, joy and humor – and a renewed enthusiasm for life. She also utilizes mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral approaches, acceptance and commitment therapy, and encourages clients to pursue a holistic approach to health including exercise, sleep, nutrition, spiritual practices, nurturing relationships and enjoyable activities.
