Manager, Operations Strategy & Excellence

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Manager, Operations Strategy & Excellence at Thermo Fisher Scientific leads supply chain strategy, operational excellence, and digital transformation across the Production Chemicals and Services business unit. The role develops long-term operating models, standardizes processes, and drives continuous improvement within a regulated cGMP/cGDP/cGTP environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy long-term supply chain operating model and capability roadmaps
Establish standardized business processes, governance frameworks, and performance standards across the network
Create executive dashboards and operational analytics supporting data-driven decision-making
Lead Lean initiatives, process optimization, and digital transformation projects across sites
Support strategic initiatives including network optimization, acquisitions, and product launches

Requirements

Experience developing supply chain and operations strategies aligned with business objectives
Demonstrated expertise in process governance, standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong analytics and business intelligence capabilities with KPI development and performance management
Knowledge of Lean principles, digital transformation, and operational excellence frameworks
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (cGMP, cGDP, cGTP) preferred
Cross-functional leadership skills across operations, commercial, quality, and finance functions
