The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for driving the end-to-end development of solution proposals, complex quotes (RFQs), and commercial strategies that deliver profitable, competitive, and compliant outcomes for Belden across the Americas (AMS). This role leads the Deal Desk cadence, ensures proper opportunity qualification, supports sales strategy, and partners cross-functionally with Sales, Solution Consulting & Services, Legal, Finance, and Product teams. The CommOps Manager will mitigate commercial risk, enforce proposal quality standards, and ensure adherence to policies, templates, pricing guardrails, and approval workflows. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Sales by providing deal insights, commercial structure guidance, and recommendations to secure winnable and profitable business.Key ResponsibilitiesDeal Desk leadership & opportunity governanceProposal & RFQ execution (end-to-end)Commercial risk, pricing integrity & complianceTools & workflow enablementRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Legal, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years' experience in proposal/bid management, complex RFQs, quoting governance, and commercial documentation/contract review.Strong cross-functional leadership experience in a matrix environment (Sales, Legal, Finance, Technical Solutions, Product).Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.Analytical mindset and comfort working in a metric-driven environment.Experience engaging senior leaders and influencing outcomes with structured recommendations.Work Environment / TravelRemote (US-based) with flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed.Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $130,000 - 150,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
