Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Adult Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Preferred, but not required License: Current RN License Certifications: BCLS and ACLS Required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Description: To plan and provide for total patient care through the use of the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. To direct and guide patient teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Completion of the employment and health requirements checklist is mandatory prior to the contract start date. All required documentation must be submitted promptly. Vaccination and immunization records must be current as per health requirements. A negative 2-step Mantoux test or equivalent is needed within one year of the start date. A drug screening and physical examination are required prior to beginning the position. Candidates must possess national and state sex offender verification. Completion of mandatory education modules is required before starting the position. This role involves direct patient care responsibilities during scheduled night shifts.
