Registered Respiratory Therapist - Travel Position

Location: Lone Tree, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6 PM - 6 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for a travel assignment. The RRT will provide high-quality respiratory care in a 240-bed facility, playing a crucial role in our NICU and ICU departments. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient treatment and education.

Responsibilities:

• Administer treatments and perform all respiratory therapy procedures
• Set up and manage ventilators for patients
• Assist with intubation and arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and staff
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team in ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med Surg units

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, NRP & PALS certifications required
• CRT or NBRC certification preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech and in PICU/NICU settings is a plus
