Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician II performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution. Unlock your potential here!

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician II with us:

• Do non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets
• Prepare unit dose drug
• Delivering medications to patient care areas
• Check medication storage areas for outdated
• Complete billing duties
• May work in an IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.

Qualifications you will need for this role:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Pharmacy Technician certificate or a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
• If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire date.
• High school diploma
• Two years' experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
