LOCATION: Louisville, Kentucky (Westport Road / Ford Truck Plant area). The Role As a Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations, you will oversee daily terminal activity, including the loading / unloading of newly built Ford vehicles onto railcars and coordination of railcar handling and readiness activities . You will be a hands-on leader responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction , while guiding your team and keeping operations running smoothly within a high-volume automotive shipping environment. What You Will Do Coordinate and schedule daily vehicle loading/unloading operations onto autorack railcars. Oversee railcar placement, readiness, and general railcar handling activities. Lead, support, and motivate your team while monitoring productivity and performance. Ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed consistently. Communicate with customers and partners to support vehicle flow and railcar availability. Maintain accurate inventory control and vehicle security. Assign daily duties and manage staffing levels. Work closely with terminal leadership to improve operational efficiency and processes. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Compensation & Schedule $20-$25 per hour (Commensurate with experience). Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime available). Important Information You will be employed by PRS Auto, not the railroad. Applicants must live within 45 minutes of the Louisville terminal. Relocation assistance is not available.
