Project Assistant – Construction

AMC is seeking a Project Assistant to provide administrative, document control, and billing support to Project Managers and Superintendents from preconstruction through closeout.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience in project administration, coordination, or a similar role.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Understanding of accounting principles and job cost accounting
• Knowledge of AIA billing, including G702/G703 forms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred: Experience with Procore and Sage 300.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain project documents, drawing revisions, and accurate records.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and subcontractor correspondence.
• Assist with subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and closeout documentation.
• Support monthly billing, payment applications, and billing-to-job-cost reconciliation.
