We hope you join us!Job DescriptionThis position will require assisting customers with selecting and purchasing items in the bakery department while also delivering great customer service. In this position, a high level of product knowledge will be required. Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Bakes off pastry case items such as muffins, croissants, scones etc according to set timesMakes a variety of parfaits, dips, and other bakery specific items while following written recipesIs comfortable using commercial baking equipment such as ovens, knives, bread slicers, etc.Stocks and rotates bakery merchandise as directedPrepares, packages, and prices product as directedAssists customers with orders placedMaintains clean and organized work area free of hazards in accordance with food safety best practiceProvides exceptional customer serviceKeeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shiftPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Proper phone etiquette while taking orders or messagesAbility to write legible and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this positioPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
