Senior IT Technician

Position Overview: Berkeley Staffing is seeking skilled and experienced Senior IT Technicians to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will collaborate with other IT professionals to provide onsite support, installation services, and a variety of IT-related tasks for our diverse client base. Description Company: Berkeley Staffing Location: Goose Creek, SC Job Type: Part-Time Travel: Required between multiple sites Key Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networks, hardware, and software. Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including operating systems and network solutions. Manage Active Directory, Microsoft applications, and Windows/Server OS environments. Utilize Microsoft PowerShell or similar command-line applications for system administration. Work with Linux operating systems and perform tasks via command-line and terminal access. Use hand tools, power tools, and network testing equipment for various IT tasks. Ensure proper transportation and secure handling of tools and equipment. Provide clear communication and documentation to clients and team members. Follow IT principles, standards, and practices to deliver high-quality service. Qualifications Associate’s degree or higher in an IT-related field such as computer science, technical support, or information technology is highly preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in computer networks, operating systems, or other IT-related roles. Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft applications, Microsoft PowerShell, Windows/Server OS, and Linux OS. Familiarity with command-line interfaces and terminal access is preferred. Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are preferred. Ability to lift more than 15 lbs and perform hands‑on tasks. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between job sites; a valid South Carolina driver’s license and evidence of insurance are required.
