Medical Technologist Laboratory

Schedule: Variable - 8 hour shifts, days, evenings, or nights

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field required.
• Must be board eligible by NCA or ASCP and complete board certification within one year of employment.
• One to three years of related or progressively more responsible experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology, or formal student internship.
• Certification at MT by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by National Accrediting Agency (NCA) within one year of employment.
• Clinical laboratory instrumentation proficiency.
• Laboratory generalist skills.
• Must be capable of working independently and providing direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants.

Compliance / Notes:

• Private housing is not provided; all housing are shared units.
• No pets are allowed.
• Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and/or the agency and will be reimbursed upon the candidate's arrival.
• Proof of completed COVID vaccinations is required.
• Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday only.
• Traveler is not permitted to travel until all credentials have been received and cleared.
• Immunization requirements: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, T-Dap, Polio, or titers/historical shot records.
• Background checks, drug screens within the last 90 days, and various required documentation will be needed upon onboarding.
