We're working with a publicly traded client in Atlanta that has an exciting Manager-level opportunity for a high-potential candidate ready to grow within the organization. This position is ideal for someone with strong SEC reporting experience. The client is open to candidates coming directly from public accounting (with public company exposure) as well as those already in industry.

The client is focused on finding someone with the drive, ambition, and leadership potential to thrive and advance within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the SEC filings, including the 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy, and S-8s.
• Perform accounting for equity transactions, stock-based compensation arrangements, debt transactions, investment transactions, acquisition and divestiture transactions, annual impairment and ad-hoc testing of goodwill.
• Assist with month end close and prepare information to support budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain support for all publicly filed financial statements and disclosures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience
• CPA
• Publicly traded company experience (either within public accounting or industry)
• Strong SEC experience and exposure
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Naturally driven
