Machine Operator / Production Line Associate

Opelousas, LA | $12.00/hour | 5 Days a Week | 8-Hour Shifts

We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Operator / Production Line Associate for a production facility in Opelousas, LA. This position will focus on operating packaging and filler machines in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must have prior machine operation experience and be able to work safely and efficiently while meeting production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate package and filler machines on the production line
• Monitor machine performance to ensure proper operation
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues as needed
• Follow all production and safety procedures
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist with additional production tasks when required

Requirements

• Prior machine operation experience required
• Must have steel-toed boots
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
