Job Title: Experienced Apartment Painter (1099 Independent Contractor)

Overview
CPR (Commercial Property Resources) is seeking an experienced and professional Apartment Painter to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This role is suited for a skilled painter who takes pride in delivering clean, consistent, high-quality work in occupied and vacant apartment units.

We are looking for individuals who understand production painting, can work efficiently without sacrificing quality, and represent our company professionally on-site.

Important: This is a 1099 contract position (NOT W-2). Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and transportation.

Responsibilities

·                Complete full interior apartment repaints (spraying) (walls, ceilings, trim, doors)

• Perform unit turns quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Prep surfaces properly including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming
• Match existing colors and ensure clean, uniform finishes
• Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding areas during painting
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Identify and communicate any damage or additional repairs needed
• Work within deadlines and turn schedules provided by property management

Requirements

·                Proven experience in apartment or residential/commercial painting

• Strong knowledge of prep work, paint application, and finishing techniques
• Ability to cut clean lines and produce consistent, professional results
• Own tools and basic equipment (brushes, rollers, sprayers preferred)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Professional attitude and communication on job sites

Compensation & Work Structure
