Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Interventionist to join our team at Yeshiva Derech Hatorah (YDT) in Cleveland Heights, OH. As a valued member of our school community, the Interventionist will provide one-on-one support to students in 5th through 8th grade, Monday through Thursday from 2-5 pm. Our ideal candidate will share our mission to instill in students a love of learning.

About the Role

As an Interventionist with YDT, you will work closely with students to identify and address individual learning needs, providing targeted instruction and support to help them achieve academic success. Your expertise will be essential in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social-emotional growth, and fostering a sense of community among our students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one pull-outs for students in 5th through 8th grade from 2-5 pm, Monday through Thursday

• Develop and implement individualized support plans to address student learning gaps and goals

• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students

• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and teachers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (level of education not specified)

• Ability to work part-time schedule (PART_TIME)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassion and understanding for students with diverse learning needs

• Familiarity with Jewish heritage and traditions (not required but a plus)
