Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Gallaway Health and Rehab ! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the dietary department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, serving, and cleaning up of meals and snacks for residents
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining areas, adhering to strict health and safety standards
• Restock supplies and inventory as needed
• Assist with menu planning and meal planning for special diets and occasions
• Ensure that all residents receive their meals and snacks in a timely and respectful manner
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
