Travel Cath Lab / EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a day shift assignment requiring ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required within the last 7 years IR and EP experience preferred ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification required ACLS and BLS certification required MD license or compact license required, license required if applicable Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred Prior travel assignment experience required with positive references on file Skilled in procedures such as cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, and PTCA Proficiency with PACS equipment Responsibilities Cardiac Cath Lab unit with diagnostic and interventional cath lab, plus EP lab work settings Float to cover IR and EP as needed 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM On-call required, 6-8 shifts per 6 week schedule including 1 weekend on-call per schedule Weekend coverage required every other weekend as needed Holiday coverage required as needed Responsibilities include accurate patient monitoring, room circulating, and maintaining sterile field while scrubbing in Flu vaccine required for all employees at this facility Locals within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate Candidates must provide a driver's license matching their address to determine local status Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract First-time travelers not considered for this role Previous MedStar employees must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler Candidates in cardiac-related specialties must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-748779 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
