Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Schedule: Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts

Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 40 hours scheduled (30 hours guaranteed)
• Call required (schedule determined by the facility)
• Weekend requirements determined by the facility

Please Note: Banner may cancel up to one shift per week in accordance with facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout all procedures.
• Monitor patients during the perioperative phase and accurately document care.
• Float to comparable units or Banner sister facilities as needed.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of recent CVOR RN experience (within the last 12 months)
• Active Arizona RN License or Compact RN License (must be active at submission)
• Active AHA, ARC, or ASHI BLS Certification
• Active AHA, ARC, or ASHI ACLS Certification
• Active AHA, ARC, or ASHI PALS Certification
• Clean, unrestricted nursing license
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience working in high-acuity cardiovascular operating rooms
