Behind the scenes in every successful business are the administrative staff that support the entire organization. As our Administration Supervisor, you perform a variety of support tasks that help the management team and all departments. You work closely with the General Manager on specialized tasks to help recognize top-performing employees and celebrate our accomplishments and service scores. You also play a role in auditing and verifying transactions within the accounting world.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of moderately complex clerical and basic bookkeeping or accounting tasks.
• Routinely processes data, documents and correspondence and verifies information against reports.
• Processes payroll information and data.
• Researches discrepancies and reports on findings.
• Answers telephones.
• Processes mail, faxes, and deliveries.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Current valid driver's license with clean driving record. (Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested).
• Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements.
• Minimum age of 18 is required.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

• Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
