As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Sat 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sun 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report access-control concerns or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and maintain awareness of posted hazard information and restricted areas. Minimum Requirements At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
