Job DescriptionJob DescriptionIndrotec Staffing and Workforce Management is currently seeking a cook for the Hennepin County Medical Center in downtown Minneapolis.This is a part-time position. Days during the week do vary but would require ability to work every other weekend.Qualified candidates will be responsible for cooking large-batch meals from scratch using raw ingredients.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCooking of meals from scratch (including raw meats) by following large-batch recipesAbility to take temperatures and record them as food is being producedClean and sanitize station and food liners according to Food and Drug Administration guidelinesServe Safe Certified or the willingness to get certifiedRequirementsExperience cooking in hospital settingExperience cooking in large quantities for large groupsServe Safe CertificationAbility to work with minimal supervisionCulinary Arts degree or certificationRecords of required immunizations (once hired)ScheduleFull Time 10:30am-7pmDays during the week may vary but does require every other weekend$22.75/hourBenefits:Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines
