We are actively seeking an Urgent Care Physician (MD or DO) for a long term opportunity in Dumfries, VA.Summary: Are you passionate about providing quality patient care in a fast paced setting? As an integral member of this facility, you will be responsible for providing evidence based medical care to active Military and their families in a fast paced setting.Status: W2Benefit: Paid time off, CME allowance and paid time off, sick leave and 11 paid holidaysSchedule:Urgent Care hours are of 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday & 8am to 2pm on SaturdayPhysicians work a mix of 8, 10 and 12 hour shiftsAbout the opportunity:2.5 patients per hourExtension of the ED at Ft. BelvoirPatients that present that are outside of clinic scope will be prepped and transported to BelvoirNo crash cartsWill not typically see overflow from primary clinicsPhysician Assistants on site along with support staff (Nursing & Tech)Providing care to the exclusive patient population of the Military and Military family.Supportive team with Senior Physician & Nursing leadershipAccess to specialty services to include pediatrics, radiology, pharmacy and lab; all located in the same buildingRequirements:Any active state licenseBoard certification in Family, Internal, or Emergency MedicineAt least 1 year of experience outside of residency program completionActive BLS and ACLS certificationsActive DEA registration
